Authoritarian movements are on the rise worldwide. This has led to the degradation or outright destruction of trustworthy data, and to increasingly hostile environments where attacks on knowledge-creation and -dissemination professions and institutions—journalism and academia included—are becoming everyday news. The Computation + Journalism Symposium (C+J) will cast light on this challenge, aiming to become a forum to discuss how to face it.

Join us for two days of talks, workshops, roundtable sessions, and paper presentations. C+J is a space for anyone working at, or curious about, the intersections of computation and journalism.
